Welcome to the West Los Angeles IAHSP Regional Chapter®!West Los Angeles IAHSP Regional Chapter (WLAIRC) was founded to provide a business association for ASP® Home Stagers throughout the greater Los Angeles County, Our goal is to foster growth, unity, and networking among peers in the Staging Community. Through our efforts we hope to elevate the professionalism of Home Staging throughout the Los Angeles County and surrounding areas and work to continually expand our quality of service. To join WLAIRC, members must be licensed business owners in Los Angeles County or outlying region, and be in the Home Staging Services or re-designing services fields. Members must be ASP® or ASP Master® Staging Designated or an ASP Real Estate Agent®. All members are subject to our Ethics guide and participation and business conduct. Members must also join the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®) ($150.00 annually) and remain in current good standing as long as they are members of their local chapter, (WLAIRC). Fee for members` annual local chapter dues will be $40.00. These fees will be used to market the ASP Designation and our ASP Chapter Members throughout our region and to cover Chapter business expenses. We also welcome Affiliate Business Members - West Los Angeles company vendors or service providers who support our Staging endeavors. Affiliate Business Memberships will include annual fees of $150.00 and allow these business owners to market to our membership as well as host our meetings as scheduled. Our local members will certainly make use of your services as our primary support vendors and encourage participation. ************ CURRENT EVENTS & NEWS **************** Dec 9, 2009 - The West LA Chapter celebrated our 2009 Holiday Party and had a absolutely wonderful time. We held a "White Elephant Gift Exchange and the Theme for the Home Staging Group was titled "What the Hell Was I Thinking when I Bought this Accessory ?" It was hillareous as we opened the gifts and then exchanged/stole them from each other. A good time was had by all ! Here are photos of our event. 
 
 
World Wide Staging Service Week In Sept 2009 - The West Los Angeles IAHSP Chapter held our annual charity event for the 2009 World Wide Staging Service Week (WWSSW) event at the Richstone Family Center in Hawthorne, CA for it`s annual charity event. Richstone provides shelter, counseling, and resources to help abused and emancipated foster children and young adult girls transition back into society. Our chapter came together on Sept 12, 2009 and brought in all kinds of furniture donations, vendor services, repairs, painting and lot`s of Staging ! We had prepared for months and recieved many donations from Fashion Furniture, Brooks Furniture, Lowes Hardware, Beach Drapery, and many more. We had some beautiful painting in many rooms provided by Eyedeal Interiors and Albert Hernandez Painting. We had cleaning services, ceiling fan installations, drywall repairs, and many others. Our vendors spent the better part of a week ahead painting, cleaning and fixing items. Then, on Saturday, the Richstone girls cleared out for the day while the ASP Home Staging teams all showed up with many of their own donations and labor. We spent the entire day transforming the house into a work of art. The Richstone Management came later in the afternoon and were overwhelmed at how much we had done and how beauitful the place looked. It was fabulous ! A newspaper reporter came and took photos and wrote up a local story. The girls started showing up and they too were overwhelmed at how much we had done and how beautiful their new home looked. Some cried and said they never lived in such a beautiful home. It was truely a very heartwarming event. We raised over $16,000 in donations of furniture, accessories and labor for this event. Congratulations to the entire West Los Angeles Chapter, the companies who donated and the vendors who put in such hard work. It was an truely a beautiful event !
